valve sizes

could someone tell me what the valve sizes are ,inlet and outlet.for 1973 z1 900.(cant find mi book)and is the z1000 valve size the same. :?: cheers.

Valves

My understanding is:-

Exhaust Std 30mm
Inlet Std 36mm

Oversize +1mm

If you look on the debben site, Same sizes/part numbers are listed for both 900 and 1000.

There you go, keep asking.

Hillbilly, for what it's worth. I do recall reading a road test on the introduction of the Z1000-A1, It stated that the valves were 1 mm larger than the Z900.
I have never been able to verify this.
