Am trying to arrange for Hutch to spray up my LTD to original colours and need to borrow a bit of body work (pref un-faded) to enable him to get a correct colour match.

Anyone out there got a bit of SUNDANCE BLUE I can"borrow"?

Recompense for your trouble obviously!

Thanks

it'll be in your parts book like a z power one or original owners book etc.
it gives you a part No then the code after it like z1r metalic stardust silver
is 56019-108-7w the 108-7w is your code hope this helps.

ltd is yours a kz1000 b1 0r b2

if b1 it only came in midnight blue code 8E and mahogany code 8F
if b2 it only came in ebony code 8G and cardinal red code 8H.

if its a 900 you'll need to get the code your self.

Thanks for this pointer

My parts book say my tank part number (1980 B4) is 51001-114-8K

So I guess my paint code is 8K.

Will this help Hutch or do I need to translate that to a paint manufacturers code?

No luck

I gave RS the colour code but although they are aware of the colour they have never been asked to make it up before so do not have the mix /tint details. Said the same thing everyone else says, if I can get a body piece or a paint chip to match against...... Bob's your live in aunt!

So back to the club - Please help.

Apparently this colour occured on the Z550 LTD, The Z650 SR and the Z1000 LTD

Apart from wanting to take the bike back to original, I also quite like the colour.

Anyone got a resprayed LTD that might have this colour still showing underneath the fuel tank or rear tailpiece etc?
