Anyone know a supplier of the stainless / chrome strip that was fitted to so many models and makes in the 70's?
I know you can buy extruded plastic stuff but that never looks authentic - I'm really after the correct metal strip, which was usually a hollow profile secured by ali rivets and spring clips

Hi Chris
The only people I can find are these

If you read through their site they do supply DIY kits.
Not sure if this helps you.
All the best

Yes the Z1A is in a container due into the UK on the 11th April - at least it can't get a lot rustier!
Your bike is looking fantastic - you must be really pleased with it.
