Hi all
Z900 A4 running Dunlop 400H x 18 (64H) GOLD SEAL K87 MKII-M on the rear. I doubt if i've done over a thousand miles since fitting the rear tyre but looking at the tread yesterday I was amazed how little life left in the tyre. I also doubt i ride so hard, respect for the girl, so what mileage should i be getting from the rear tyre.

Also, i believe Bridgestone BT45 are also available. Are they likely to wear better?

Cheers.

Colm,

can't say as I have much experience of either high Z mileage or the Dunlops, but can't speak too highly of the BT45's. Great tyres, use them on virtually all my classics. Good grip, good in the wet, and as good mileage as any others I have tried. ( Avons = awful, and Continentals seem to go off and become loose long before the tread is worn out )

Thanks Loz. i have BT45's on my XBR and i think they are good. I think when it comes to replace the runner it will be to BT's.
