I recently won this groovy little item on ebay for the princely sum of $200. It's a 78 z1r frame that has been modded to a monoshock using early 90s GSXR components front and rear. As you can see from the pics it's quite well done. The bike came with a clean and clear title, which is all we need, other than insurance, over here to prove ownership and register it for the road. What you see in the pics is what I got, so it's missing quite a bit, but is a great foundation for a build.

As it happens, I have a GSXR 1100 motor laying about in need of a home, and I thought I'd join the two. I have seen this done, but can't find any info on it stateside. I know the jerries are big on this sort of thing, but am having trouble finding info.

I was hoping you fellows might be able to point me in the right direction. Thanks in advance for any advice/help.

Hi Kwakanut, there have been several Zed/GSXR hybrids over here in the past, although they don't seem nearly as common as they used to be. I guess that's because of the value of Zeds/parts.
Hopefully, someone on here can steer you in the right direction.
