MY Z900A4 HAS THE ENGINE NUMBER KZT00AE046462 CAN ANYONE TELL ME WHAT MODEL THE ENGINE IS FROM SHOULD IT BE A 900CC ENGINE OR A 1000CC..... ALSO I HAVE SOME 900A4 CASINGS ARE ALL THE PARTS INTERCHANGEABLE FROM THE ENGINE IN THE BIKE

Seems like a Z1000 A2 engine number which should have been 1015.

I'm sure the casings are interchangeable but would wait for 100% confirmation from an expert.... are you talking about crankcases - all the external ones are. Or at least I always thought they were ...

Barrie as Chris said, you can swap everything the casings, the cylinder and head no problems, I know some 1000s had different crank ends but it would still fit in the Z900 casings
