im in the middle of a hydrolic clutch conversion,
ill post more info at the weekend promise. :D

however in my old age instead of bolting it on and riding off into the sunset i was thinking may be i should replace the clutch as for the life of me i really don't remember the last time i change it or if i ever did?

so it could have been unchanged since 1990 lol.

when the hydrolic actuator/slave is set in right position and the clutch is worn how bad could it throw things out.

but for now my question is.

buy a Barnett clutch kit.

buy ape springs and separate plates.

if second option what brand clutch.
EBC Clutch Plates?
are there any others worth buying.

For what it's worth I recall reading on a turbo related forum that Barnett plates have been known to shed particles a little too much. One person commented that it contaminated the oil so much as to ruin his turbo.
Not my first hand experience, just what I read.

Absolutely correct. The Barnett clutch plate particles will kill turbo bearings. And if they can murder a bearing they can't be doing the rest of the engine any good.
