OK guys, any clues
front brake caliper z1a. in the zpower parts book and Haynes book ref.no7[ bush rubber x1], the zpower repair kit doesn't have one, Haynes doesn't explain where it goes, clymer says use a Kawasaki dealer[helpful that]. any tips gratefully received. brake rattled last summer, want to avoid rattle this summer, if possible.

The rubber bush you are refering to is available from Z-power as a seperate part and is held in place by a round ring on the leading edge of the caliper bore,its a dust seal.The round ring is a tight push fit into the bore,don't think this is available though.
The rattle will be cured by fitting 2 new 0 rings to each caliper shaft and coating each shaft with copper slip grease thus allowing the caliper to "float" on the shafts.
