Did a spray job on a z1000 a long time ago though. I remember the green was matched best from a VW colour. Not sure about the others sorry.! If you have a paint code most bodyshop paint suppliers should have a mixing formula for the colours. Im sure if you took a tank in to match they would help. Where abouts are you ?

Hi Paul, there is a company that supplies complete decal kits for the 1100R models.
Graham
The Image Works
Ilkeston

I think a full set is about ?40.
As for the green,Volkswagen Apple Green is a close match but other members might know of a closer match.
The workshop manual is a supplement to the base Z1000J/GPz1100 factory Kawasaki manual.

Deac and Jack,
Thanks for advice, im actually living in Kegworth Between Nottingham and Loughborough near Donnington Park race track.
The trouble with taking the tank in is i know its bee sprayed incorrectly before at a local spray place.
I will keep hunting for the RAL numbers in the mean time.

Paul,i shall be using Volkswagen Apple Green when i paint my Lawson as it's a good colour match and is readily available.
I've seen several bikes in this colour and it looks good.
I'm just up the road at Loughborough.
Hope you get the bike sorted how you want it.
Anything i can help you out with Paul, just ask.

Kawasaki still sell touch up paint for the Z1100R and this should have a code on the container or a paint supplier could match the paint up. Failing that as others have said Volkswagen Apple Green is a very close match.
