Getting ready to blow big money on my 1100R. Dropped it off at Debben yesterday for a complete engine strip and rebuild and looking into a new exhaust.
Seen this on the Z power website and think it looks rather special.

Haven't run them yet to see if it's something they've still got.
Is it a PMC? Anyone got one and is it worth the money.

Zorst looks pukka, would be nice to see it on a Zed, have you tried the Sanctuary site in japan, they always have plenty of modded zeds, I'm sure this zorst is japanese though maybe not PMC.

PMC sell this pipe. It is called a Type 2 Stailess Monaka ( ステンレスモナカ )
Retail in Japan is 105,000 yen.
This catalogue shows it is available to fit the following bikes
Z1/Z2, Z750-1000, Z1R, Z1000/1100J,R,GP
I will try to post some detail pics from the catalogue if anyone is interested.
It really does look very well made.

I bought one from Z Power for a Z1000 I had last year. The quality was excellent and I will be buying another one in the future. Picture of the bike below.

Thanks for those pics. Does look good fitted. Love those curved header pipes. How loud is it - is it as bad as a Harris with a race baffle?
Used to ride my Z around years ago with the race baffle but it's got the road baffle in now as I suspect I'd be pulled over every five minutes these days. Rides bloody awful with the road baffle - though on the dyno the power difference isn't nearly as much as it feels.
I've sent Z-power an email enquiry, will phone them after the new year.

With the road baffle in its not too load and got through the MOT. The headers are spring loaded so very easy to put on and take off without having to replace exhaust gaskets every time. You do loose the centre stand though.

I would recommend these pipes to anyone in the club.

You might be better to ring them for a price as I have had little joy from their email enquires, but they are top blokes when you ring them.

Have you also looked at the stainless pipe debbens do as thats tasty, and cheaper than the above?

Seen the Debben one. Looks good but doesn't have a road baffle. I think it's the Exhaust Craft one.
Got a reply from Z power and they have the pipe in stock so think I'll take one.
I'll show it off at one of the meetings in 2009.
Bike's starting to look good now. Had the wheels re painted (by Griffs in Bristol - top job). Had various bits powder coated, forks stanchions rechromed, brakes rebuilt, panels re-sprayed. Debben are going to send the engine cases of for reconditioning and are going to balance crank, rebore it to 1170 and flow the head.
I'll finish it all off with a set of Ohlins and possibly an alloy swingarm.
Costing a fortune but I've been looking at getting a brand new bike for years and nothing out there appeals to me so thought I'd blow it all on getting my Z looking like new. Going to Italy with MCI tours in May so I'm hoping it will be ready and run in by then.
