Anything's possible , it's just a question of time , patience , knowing the right people and money
I'd be interested in the answer to this myself.
Any tips on monoshocking a Zed frame? like who did it , photos etc?

Terrible thing to do gray.
It`s a bit like putting 2 x 6 pot calipers on the front with a Cheng Shin tyre.
Best I`ve seen is polished arm with decent twin shocks (JMC / Ohlins)

I told him it was a bad idea to cure his paint in the oven at home
Mrs P will go mad when she realises what`s happened to her lovely kitchen.

Problem with monoshocking is that it makes the wheelbase long. All right for the drag strip but limiting on the twisties.

was all done in 1982, long before i owned it, i got bike around 91/92, will get some pics up but basically it needs a total overhaul as ive sadly let her get into a bit of a state

(however this was largely due to personal events and not intentional

) if its possible to fit a wider rim in metmachex arm i may stay with that, something im going to look into, will need a new rear shock, looking to fit a different front end also if anyone can advise, engine needs a good polish as gone a bit crusty, frame powdercoated and new paint etc, am looking to start it early in new year
