Paul,
it's worth speaking to Braided Steel Aerotek, Chipping Camden, Glos.
Tel; 01386 849060.
It's run by Wendy Grant, [wife of the late Dave Grant], who was a big zed man.

Good shout Phil, though it's worth mentioning that you want 'swaged' ends as this will look much better.
Goodridge also deal direct to the public if you know who to talk to  Try Vicky at vicky@k300.com
I paid just £76 for a set of 4 x clear coated, swaged, custom hoses with all st/st fittings & washers.

HEL brake lines are great with stainless used throughout. They will supply whatever you want with new stainless banjo bolts, copper washers etc. Whilst braided hoses are smaller in diameter than the original rubber lines you can have a black sleeve to keep the look to a degree. Never be tempted by alloy or plated mild steel fittings offered by other manufacturers. The 'kit form' braided lines are also a no-no!

You can buy direct from HEL ( http://helperformance.com/ ) or I can get them for you, as an authorised HEL dealer, and give you a 20% Z1OC discount :D

Bunny wants to use the steel section going through the brackets.

I`m sure it can be done but it`s a pretty substantial flange

Mine still uses the metal brake pipes to the calipers.

Do you mean keep the steel/kunifer pipe out of the caliper and then put stainless braided hose to that?

If so then yes it's possible Goodridge / Earls (Speed Seal) do all the adaptors and flange fittings. Had them on my T150V.

BunnysZ you need to get the braided hose made up to fit the fitting on the rigid hose. If you have a hose that hasn't got the correct fittings on it already then you will either have a rig of adapters or get the hoses remade corrcetly.

I personally hate rigid lines on motorcycle braking systems as there is always the issue of work hardening with vibration which leads to fractures which often leads to ... well ... err .... death
