Anyone have a contact for frame repairs? This Z900 I'm restoring for a M8 needs a couple of holes welded-up in the webbing beneath the headstock.
I'm based in W.London.

If its just "holes" a local welder should do the trick :)

Dogsbollox, If you are restoring, make sure you look at all aspects of the frame. There is nothing worse then struggling to deliver a frame to a welder, then to get it home and find you should have had other work done.

The other areas that nearly always need attention, besides that webbing and steering stop in that headstock area, are :
The damper bracket (usually broken or just hanging on).
The rear blinker holder holes (usually crushed and unable to take the correct fittings).
Parts missing, such as a side-cover holder bracket
Frame mods that were not noticed. eg. strengthening brackets that don't allow coils to be fitted.
The removal of old taper roller bearing shells.

Perhaps someone could advise me, if metal filler (solder or leading) will survive the heating in powder-coating process?
