Crankshaft rotor - what model?

#1 PostAuthor: martinz1000r » Mon Nov 24, 2008 1:44 pm

Can anyone identify what model this rotor should fit? It has GP9325 stamped on the back and there are 6 magnets inside it.

I bought it as i was told it fitted Z1000R/Gpz1100 engines but it does not even though it looks identical in size etc. When it is torqued up it locks the starter clutch.

If I can find what it is supposed to fit I will sell it complete with starter clutch it came bolted to. It is in very good condition.

Same as my one that fell apart and deposited bits of magnet in the sump!

A rotor from a Z1000 J1/J2/J3,Z1000 K1/K2 (LTD) or GPz1100 B1/B2 should do the trick.
The uni-trak ZX1100 has different internals to the earlier twin shock models.
I think pattern rotors are available new.

Jack - sorry you missed the point there. I wanted to know what the rotor in the original posting was off so I don't pass it on to someone else under false pretenses!

:??

I managed to get a proper replacement rotor from Electrex World near Reading.
