HI ALL, LOTS OF INFO ON THIS, US ,GS SITE I AM INTERESTED IN HIS USE OF CABLE TIES TO KEEP VALVES OPEN WHEN CHANGING SHIMS! ANYONE USED THIS BEFORE??? BYE THE BYE WHERE IS THE BEST PLACE TO OBTAIN SHIMS?........PAULJAC47

The 'Cable - Tie' thing is interesting :??

But to be honest I would be warey of using this method.... I'd be worried a valve may catch on a piston if it is held open whilst the crank is turned :shock: and the uneven loading on the valve (even tho the cable ties are soft) worries me .....
This is no good from me Lawson coz they're underbucket :lol:
