Clock rebuild

#1 PostAuthor: tlc » Mon Sep 29, 2008 5:51 pm

I`ve been doing up my clocks this weekend.

Repainted the bracket, new rubbers purchased as well as a new loom / lamp kit.

Only trouble is getting hold of Chris Rivett. I only have the number from the Classic Mechanics article and he`s not answering.

Would anyone have contact details for him ?

Jezz Chris is a busy man, even when you do get hold of him he's working and talking, But like everything else in this world if you want the best well you know the rest.

BunnysZ and MaineKZ.

I have arranged with Chris Rivett to deliver the clocks for refurb to him direct.

As soon as you can get the clocks to me I will deliver.

If anyone else has clocks they want sending for refurb let me know.

I just don`t trust the post office :(

Had my Z1B clocks done January this year by Chris. Absolutely perfect finish and they now work correctly with no waggling needles. Chris turned them around in under 10 days too- Top Bloke and service. Cost of full refurb on Z1 clocks is about £210, this can reduced based on condition of casings, need for new faces etc

Hi
Had same problem a week or two back but fair play, the bloke is busier than a busy thing, leave a message on his mobile/phone number and he will get back to you - patience is the key here. Quality costs - time and money.
Cheers
Rob
