I dropped off a pair of rims, pair of mudguards, levers, headlamp rim and some other stuff at the chromers. It will be ready in 3 weeks and £530 for cash sir.
After 3 months I finally get the bits back and the chrome on both rims is bo***cks. It not true you don't aways get what you play for.

I used a firm in Watford.
Did a good job cause he`s a fellow Jag man !
Prices are more than they used to be because of the new chemical disposal regulations. Still £200 cash for long rear mudguard, grabrail and handlebars didn`t seem so bad

I've always found chroming a strange science - some of the best work I've had done has been the cheapest, likewise you can pay top money for a crap job. I've never used him personally, but Steve Smethurst gets chroming done that is well up to standard for the concours boys - dare say it won't be cheap though.
