Help with Electrics please

#1 PostAuthor: Big Glenn » Mon Jul 14, 2008 7:29 pm

Does anyone know if the ignition switch for a US spec Z1000 is different to the UK one? the problem I have is when I turn on the ignition switch it does not supply power to the 2 auxillary fuses, so cosequently I cannot get any power to the lights.

Any suggestions gratefully recieved.

Don't think the lights light up until the engine is running.

Panic over!! found the problem, it was a bad connection on the 9 pin connector behind the clocks, and headlight.

So now I can continue with the rebuild, i.e wiring the lights and indicators etc.

Thanks.
