front discs

forgive me for i am a mere hillbilly,but which way round do the calipers go on a 73 900.front of forks,or behind.(twin disc). :?: :|

All calipers went in front until 1978 when they put them behind on the Z1000A2 :D

Not necessarily - you can swap them over and turn them round, which people frequently did as they look better on the back. How many bolt holes have your discs?

four,i have two six hole discs that i need a wheel for,had a quote from abbey motors last nite ,150 delivered.bit to dear for me.would swap for one i got. :D

If the calipers are at the rear of the forks and the old front mudguard mount at the bottom is also at the rear then you have Z1000A2 forks.
