colour of rear brake push rod and chain adjusters?

as in title, what colour were these originally? (A1)

push rod - connects to brake pedal vie a threaded cylinder (what colour was that?) and enters the rear brake cylinder via the tubber cover to push on the piston.

chain adjusteter; similar to these.

By push rod, do you mean the little fellow with the fork one end that pushed the master cylinder piston and attachs with the fork to the lever at the back of the pedal? If so, it was zinc plated, but I made a new 'un in stainless.

By chain adjusters do you mean the blocks with the threaded hole ? or the bolt with the pointed end ?
