Need a bit of help guys
Now I know its not strictly ZED related but my mates XJR1200 meta alarm is acting the tosser and I was wonderin if anybody had any wiring info that would give me a clue where to start and bypass it or if you know anybody thats done it succesfully.
Most of the alarm companies we have tried all wanna charge £300 to remove it or patch in another now i know people have to make a livin but that fekin daylight robbery any help would be greatly appreciated

Thats a lot of cash!! luckly we dont need alarms over here nobody steals bikes!!

Mate of mine had an alarm on his triumph and it was a nightmare, so I know where you are coming from. Be very careful. Can't stress this enough dude. Alarms are generally wired into quite a few systems and as such you can't just go round chopping wires off. Usually a junction box has to be installed to replace the alarm and my advice is get professional help. Shop around for this, My mate managed to get his removed for £30.00 so it need not cost an arm and a leg. Good luck!

I had a similar problem, luckily i was with the AA homestart and the guy that came out by passed the alarm for me. So if your mate has AA, rac or greenflag it might be worth getting them out as a breakdown.
