Installed new repo turn singals (from Z1 enterprise NICE! ) anyway I was curious to what these two unplugged Brown wires are for. Cheers

There are usually a few unused wires in the headlight shell. Dunno why. Brown wires are 12v +ve feeds. No idea why they used brown for +ve any more than why they used black/yellow for -ve earth.

If your bike is a USA import, the original front indicator units would have had 3 wires coming from them and twin filament 5/21W bulbs.
With the ignition on, the front indicator units illuminated through the 5W filament of the bulbs (driving lights), the supply coming from the two now unused brown wires you have. This was compulsory in certain areas of 'the States' in the 70's and early 80's.

Better off the way you have it now, they looked bloody crap with dull indicators constantly illuminated.
