i have a 1973 z1 900, i have two tanks that fit,but one has a key to open it,and the other one you press a lever at the end to the front of tank,can anyone tell me if this is rare for z9s .thanks ,brent.

The early Z1s had the press lever type of cap. I think the key type were introduced for the early Z1000s onwards.

hi hillbilly, the locking fuel cap belongs to z900 a4 onwards. the lever cap type is for z1 z1a z1b only.
