Hello me again, still running rich after all my efforts (see mikuni needles and jets)

Which way do you move the timing plate to advance the ignition, just a thought, you see i have electronic ignition from a Z1000 mk11 on my Z1R, and i am now wondering if as it is set it is retarded.........the bloke who sold it to me said the timing was the same for both bikes and i could bolt it straight on

Lovely thanks a lot, was going to fiddle with that but got sidetracked by crappy corroded wires on the IC ignitor box.........

Was testing out a strobe light and i noticed that at tickover it looked ok but when you revved the engine it shon a lot brighter, also i am not 100% sure but when i opened the throttle slowly and the bike starts missing a bit the strobe light wasnt always flickering

Weak spark at tickover me thinks.........dunno i have run out of fiddling about time now
