Hi. In my early Z1a I miss a steering lock. I have found a new one in some Swedish auction site. When I got it I find it different from my old style. Why?
English or Us model? What i right? Why to cart 2 different triple tree just for 2 different style of lock?

I suspect that a "Support your Local Hells Angels" sticker would be a more effective anti theft device than a stock steering lock

Kari i think the difference is the Uk European models had the Brass type lock the other alloy type is us models. Is your Z1A a European model?

Maybe this is the type of help your after?? instead of the "hells angels" type.

I think I am correct in saying that the UK models including my Z1B had the brass "neimen" type locks fitted were as the US models had the round type fitted so I guess this was a Euro thing.

Okay, but I'm still wonder WHY they made 2 different style? Wasn't the round US style strong enough? Or because the round style use the ignition key? It be suitable over there but not here. Hmmm......
