After the run to the ace yesterday showed up how bad my A2 front brakes are
nearly rear ended ralph couple times. anyway expect you lot been asked this a million times why wont my front brakes bleed up properly no matter what i do. Tonight in desperation i disconnected both calipers and ran a single hose from the master cylinder straight to the left caliper even that wouldnt bleed up, so i tried another master cylinder still nothing could there be a fault with the 2 master cylinders there not leaking but could they be drawing in air? or could there be a fault in the calipers, i renewed all the seals etc when i rebuilt them could the pistons be worn? realy am at a loss what to do next dont want to start lashing out money needlessley.

Mikey are you sure that you used a good grade of fluid and not some that has been sitting on the shelf for too long as it deteriorates with age or exposure to the atmosphere.

Ha Ha, if yer Zeds go missing you know it was one of us ... and just cos I'm the closest doesn't put me in the frame

By the way why were you aiming the PM at Bunnyz gonads; that seems rather over familiar

As John said, you need to measure the diameter of the piston in your master cylinder to see if it's suitable to be running two discs. Did you measure the piston in the other Master Cylinder? If the piston is too small that would explain your extended travel.

I spoke to a car mechanic mate of mine today and explained my
Z brake woes to him and he said bet you got a tiny air pocket behind each piston so he says bleed em in the normal way but when you open the bleed nipple get someone to hold the lever in or tie it back and then lever the piston back into the caliper done that and the air bubbles came out thick and fast very long winded way of doing it but done it several times on each caliper and they are a lot better, still think they could be better but i could be geting paranoid.
Mmmm who to blame if my bikes go missing after that stupid mistake i made well if there are biscuit crumbs by the garage door and me overalls and cleaning rags been ironed its gotta piggy pigford and his biscuit munching accomplice ralphy

I've been trying to figure this out ... does this mean he's into Country and Western music? .... or Line dancing? ... or are you suggesting that he's a cowboy? ... Has he a secret Harley fetish ... or is this a more oblique way of telling us he's into S&M?

Pray clarify this cryptic post
