Recently bought new vance & hines, air filters & jets. Changed the exhaust...LOVELY...ran really well...next day changed the air filters from standard box to k&n's, the pilot jet from 15 to 17.5 and main jet from 102.5 to 110...now runs like a bag of old s**t seems like she's constantly choking....any ideas ????????????

The standard Kawasaki carbs are a pain to sort with pod filters (K&N's)
Try 115's....., best to start rich then reduce jet size

Rule of thumb is a good 10% increase for hi-flow filters..... but every case is different

Hello Domz, I would guess at something around a 122.5 to 125 main jet size, pilots should not need to be bigger than 17.5, where are the needles set ? this will have a far greater effect on fueling than the main jets and costs nothing to try, Regards, Steve

hi steve thanks for the advice will certainly try 122.5's when i can find somewhere that actually sells main jets phoned z supplies yesterday and no joy.............in the meantime took out the float needle to alter the setting and found that it only has the '1' setting so a bit stumped at the mo !!!

Steve doesn't mean float needle  he means the needle that works in conjunction with the needle jet - the one in the centre of the slide.
