If the brake hose from the handle bar master cylinder to the "T" joint on the bottom yoke is a bit long and winds its way a bit round the clocks and headlight area till it reaches the "T" joint can this cause problems with bleeding the brakes?

Sorry no Mikey the length makes no difference and as long as the bottom end is below the reservoir it should bleed up ok.

Ok cheers padders it looked and is a bit long and i thought in the loops it may be holding air pockets i know Z brakes aint that great but my front ones are well pathetic!! to say the least.

If you get fliud out of the calipers the lines shouldn't be holding air, banjo's, splitters, bolts, master cylinder and calipers may be but not usually the lines. If you have an overly long line see if you can have the banjo pointing up from the m/cylinder - it makes bleeding easier.

Thanks for the tip rich but searching through me garage found shorter length of goodridge give that a go tomorrow
