Rebuilding a Zephyr 750 for a lassie freind of ours. Tank is rotten n dented to heck. Leaking more out holes than tap!

Zephyr tanks impossible to get hands on as common probem apparently!
Someone reckoned a Z650 tank fits straight onto the zephyr frames (as similar to old z650`s, and just requires a new back bracket to mount.
Anyone know if this is true or what rough measurements are of tunnel underneath z650 tank. Couple on egay at mo so thinking it may be worth a shot.

So the tanks are interchangable then to a certain degree?? Making up mountings, etc is peice of piss, but wasnt sure about clearance underneath for the top tubes.
