Bike Shipping . . .

#1 PostAuthor: RB » Wed Apr 02, 2008 8:14 pm

I wasn't too sure where to post this . .But, if anyone has bought or seen a bike that they want shipping from the U.S. back to Blighty then I may be able to help out for a reasonable price. I am doing an East coast run in a couple of weeks - Michigan, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, Arkanses, Louisiana, Alabama, Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Virginia, West Virginia, Maryland, Ohio, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Conneticut, Rhode Island, Massachusettes, New Hampshire . . Pretty much most States East side . . Give me a shout - the smaller capacity bike the better (and the cheaper!)

Hi Rick.

I tried twice to send you a PM but I'm not sure they got sent as they are still in my outbox.

I also sent you an E-mail.

Would you mind explaining the sequence of events, time frame, the Customs red tape and the ballpark figures involved in collecting a Big old Z from the U.S.

I am hoping to make an offer on a bike and would like to do so armed with as much information as possible so as to satisfy the sellers worries about the sale.

Many thanks

Gus
