Hi to all, I havn't posted a Q in a while because the projects been at a stand still. But she's up and running now. I'm not a bad mechanic, but a woeful auto electrician, my problem is iv'e got absolutley no spark at the plugs, but on cranking the engine for a while the coils are warming up so obviously they are getting power. Any suggestions what to test or check?
Cheers

If you're local to me I'll check your wiring and connections for you.
I'm at Loughborough J23/M1 East Mids.
If not you'll need a muti-meter or someone who has one and knows what they're doing.
Check the primary and secondary resistances of the coils and then check for a 12V feed to the coils with the ignition on.
The coils are usually pretty robust so it's highly un-likely that both pairs have packed up.
Make sure that any side stand cut-out switch isn't playing up,the same goes for your ignition kill switch.
Check your HT leads for continuity.
Also use a set of plugs that you know are working.

Thanks Jack, unfortunatly I'm way too far away to drop around your place otherwise i would have jumped at the offer. I'll do all you said, but I'm not sure how to check the leads because i think they are sealed with the coils and i don't think all four would have packed up at once so it must be pre the leads.
