got a z1100 with forks that have a valve or somthig at front bottom of legs, anybody know what its for.

maybe anti-dive unit as fitted to gpz models?

You can take antidive unit off and fit a blanking plate .

Forks will be same, all the anti-dive does, is increase the damping when braking.......
So you may get a bit more dive under braking.....
It's a bit of a gimmick, coz it hasn't been on production bikes for years :wink:

If you blank off the anti dives using a plate you will need to link the anti dive oil holes with a channel milled into the blank off plate or fork oil will not flow the correct route and you will have a rock hard front end. Might have a cad drawing of the plates somewhere.
