i've not got the facilities of a good place to undertake work and also not much engineering knowledge, but, does anyone know whether:-
1/ a triumph t595 single sided swingarm can be made to fit a z1a frame.
2/ where and who would good at the fitting it(no doubt some cutting and welding needed).
thank you,
shrek.

Shrek, see the answer to your clutch and get yourself on the Streetfighters MCC forum.
From memory it seems that the VFR single sided arms are the ones to use as they are usually narrower than the Trumpets,Dukes, etc.
Twin spar arms provide more rigidity for your bike though

Spot on Jack,

The reason the triumph single sided arms are cheaper that the H**** ones is because they are wider at the pivot end and need machining down quite a bit.

The Ducati ones being shorter are usually worth the hassle as they maintain the standard bike length.
