PMC Easy Clutch question

#1 PostAuthor: mattc » Mon Feb 20, 2017 8:52 pm

Hi, can anyone give me a definite confirmation that the Easy Clutch kit from the likes of Webike can be used on the Z1000J1 or GPz1100B1, where the early models used the same ball bearing cage and helical track clutch actuator as the earlier Z's...Z1000A etc?

http://japan.webike.net/products/1522726.html

They look the same to me but would like to be 100% sure it fits in the later motors before shelling out the readies.

Thanks, Matt

As far as I can see yes. The J model shows this set up on the fiche. I have emailed my contact at PMC for confirmation

the pats diagram shows both options so you will have to remove the cover to see which one it fitted to yours

Thanks guys, I have the older style lifter where the helical mechanism (with it's 11 BBs) bolts into the J/GPz casing. Thus I want to try and fit the Easy Clutch lifter and am just trying to ensure it will fit in this application.
