dyna coil mounts on mk2/st

#1 PostAuthor: Redbeard » Sun Jan 29, 2017 9:11 am

Hi, does anyone have a pic or some advice for mounting dyna coils on a mk2/st frame please? I think the frame is different to earlier zeds under the tank. Cheers.

no other brackets needed - just be careful as always with any risk of shorting out.

Bollocks. Yet another variation between these two. Would there be any issues if I had the coils on their sides?

No, Put them anywhere you can.
Upside down, back to front. Doesn't matter.

There should be a triangular bracket that hangs down on each mount like below

Cheers Rob, will do. I eventually (after a lot of searching) found a pic of some mounted on their sides on an ST.

oldzed, the ones that came off it were fitted to home-made, crap brackets which I have re-made. I will mount them once the new dyna leads arrive and keep my eye out for the proper brackets.
