Does anyone know where I can get a stainless bolt for the side of the master cylinder on a z1000 ? Not really sure what its there for really unless its a spare port for something.
Also has anyone on here used DOT 5 Silicon brake fluid without problems ? As I'm rebuilding all the brakes and replacing all lines/seals etc I'm wondering if this is a good idea....no paint damage, doesn't absorb water etc etc

No it's not that one.....cheers though....I should have said it's the rear master cylinder......not the front. It's on the outside of the rear master cylinder, pretty much in the middle ?

Phil Denton engineering should be able to make you one. Have bought a few stainless parts off them in the past.
Never seen one for sale. Could buy a complete rear master cylinder off ebay ?

I was told by DaveMarsden when I was refurbishing my rear master cylinder what ever I did, do not lose that nut, I would struggle to get another, could be an investment opprtunity there
