Have searched the forums and a few recommendations appear, but the threads are many years old - c2007/2008 - Marque restorers near Coventry appears and still seem to be going.

Have a recommendation for a company near Biggleswade, but their lead time is about 14 weeks which says a lot about the quality of their work, but was hoping for something a bit quicker - would like to crack on with the restore of my 70s TS.

Wondering what the latest thinking is on places to get rechroming done - ideally near Oxford, but somewhere south of Birm, west of London, east of Bristol would be ok.

Aren't london chroming famous for loosing components and then not giving a f**k?

London chroming done stuff for me years ago and was all fine, mind you i had a mate working there, all my small stuff i used to do myself, those were the days, oh to be a plating chemist again.

Nothing of mine was ever lost

Thought it was on here that I read that, obviously mistaken.

Marque restorers in coventry seem to have a decent reputation, a few of the harley owners local to me tend to use them on quite a regular basis.
