Oil Cooler Hose Routing

Is there any reason why I shouldn't route my oil cooler hoses over the cylinder head (between the coils), it looks like the best route to keep them away from the exhaust.

that's how they are routed on the gpz1100

NO no good reason at all .......but theres about 3 why you'd not run them any other way.
