Z1000R Vs J Wiring loom

#1 PostAuthor: LeeJackson » Sat Dec 24, 2016 11:40 am

Guys

I'm fitting a PMC loom to my J and figuring out switch wiring. There is a difference in the lighting circuit and I seem to have an extra multi block at the battery box which is confusing me a bit. I'm wondering what plugs in here on the US model? Is it some sort of secondary fuse box or? I'm thinking I can just bypass it but wanted to check what it's actually for.

Basically the wires from the main fuse box end here rather than at the front switches as per the J and obviously show up as a different colour at the front. Also anyone have a wiring diagram showing the R wiring like this?

Cheers
Lee

Thanks Guys! WTF is a reserve lighting relay for? :) I'm thinking I can just join the wires together there and omit it. Is it something for US models?

if your headlight bulb fails whilst ridding it automatically switches on the other beam

My headlight failed once on my RD250 whist riding in the dark and went into a ditch so it's a good safety feature. Saves ruining a pair of pants as well!
Inheritance? What inheritance? He spent it all on booze, women and Zed parts!
