Which torque setting is correct?

Guyz was just fllicking through last years yearbook,noticed cylinder head torque nuts settings for z1,ab,a4 thou are all 30 ft ilbs,always set these at 25 ft ilbs as per Kwak manual and Haynes book of lies which is correct?

my books all say 30 (well Kawasaki one say 27-31)

Weird that Chris my reprint of an original Z1 manual says 25ft ib matter of interest what book do you have?..Ta Paul J

early model z1 some suffered from oil leaks Kawasaki modified the cylinder head nut so the thread was deeper as the original nut was bottoming out the new nut had a deeper thread & the torque setting was increased to 29-31ft lbs

Anywhere from 25 to 36 ft/lb for std studs.
32 to 42 ft/lb for HD studs.
