Hi everyone,

I have asked this question before some time ago, but despite scanning ebay for the past 10 months and phoning the usual recommended used parts dealers. I still cannot locate the black pvc rim that goes round the top of the fairing screen on my Z1R. I'm getting to the stage where I will take the cockpit fairing off and change the clocks. If anybody sees or hears about the above part can you give us a shout. Also the fuel gauge has never worked as the needle has fallen off ? can this be repaired.

many thanks

regards

Dave

p.s thanks to the guys for the help on the tyres.

I guess stock is the only option ? I've only seen two on ebay the last 3 years.

Try a GOOGLE search for plastic strip or extrusions.
This must be quite a common item, just need to locate some
Try ship chandlers, car stores, etc :!:

I bought a repro screen from Sweden a while back. It came with a trim. Looks allright.

I think this is the rare trim that you are searching such a long time.
nice shape, only one small tear.easy to repair with a little bit of black silicone.
If you want it, make a offer!

Hey Dave, sounds good.
Let me check the shipping cost and i will tell you the total cost.
Is a padded envelope good for you,or must it be a parcel?

Cheers Mick

Thanks Mick,

A padded envelope is fine, let me know the cost and we can sought out the rest. I could give you my email address for further correspondance as it will look messy through this forum.
