Push Pull throttle?

#1 PostAuthor: LeeJackson » Sun Sep 25, 2016 9:03 am

Hi guys, I need to order up a push pull throttle for my flat slides. I see so far only two options, motion pro and APE. Are there any others? These look pretty similar but is one better than the other? Am I missing any better options? Had some bad experience with aftermarket throttles before so thought best to check :)

Thanks
Lee

I use motion pro. I think you'll find the APE version is Motion Pro too. No issues at all other than the allen screws at handlebar end are steel and rust in seconds. Easy fix though. I also have a Yamaha twin cable throttle but the motion pro has longer cables so easier to get decent routing.

If you are using CR carbs connect the cables before you fix the carbs in to the rubbers otherwise your fingers just wont bend in enough angles.

As above. I have a motion pro from Ray on 36mm RS flatslides like you now have. No issues, straight fit no drama. Spare cables are also available. Had a DR 400 Suzuki one before and was quoted £40 just for new cables!

I use the same and just bought new cables for it.

No dramas and looks dead cool.
