Air Fuel mixture

#1 PostAuthor: Wayne1960 » Tue Jul 19, 2016 6:59 am

I have set up air and fuel mixture the way it has been explained in the manuals and also used carbtune.
The bike appears to be running well but I wanted to ask if there was any easy proven way to check the mixture is right from exhaust fumes other than the obvious smell and appearance.
Is there a device or something you guys use to check?
Just purchased a 1976 UK Z900 A4 for renovation. Wish me luck.
Bike now finished what a joy!

you can buy air/fuel meters than monitor O2 content in the exhaust
