Hi Guy's, need to change the adjuster, I have the official workshop manual but this helps me not as I'm fitting the one from a zzr 1100. Need to know procedure for removal of old one and replacement of the new one. Any help please. I have been on some US sites but it's like the blind leading the blind :|

the zzr 1100 tensioner will bolt straight in it is a different profile to the one on your bike but fits perfectly. use a new gasket for the zzr100 though you should remove the cam cover to check the valve timing is correct if its a later zg fuel injection model the have an oil feed pipe attached to the tensioner you will need to remove this & blank of the oil feed out of the back of the cylinder head

:) Many thanks z1bman, It's a a2model so none of the oil feed pipe stuff. But when i'm taking the old one out do I have to watch for anything flying off :?:

no just remove the two Allen bolts. leave the 10mm headed bolt in place as this is the locking bolt for the tensioner
