One of the fairly recent modifications to the Kawasaki USA web site is a parts xref lookup.

Here's the link to the starting place.

You can find it under Kawasaki - motorcycle - owner info - parts diagrams
Parts Diagrams

Select a motorcycle (it really doesn't matter which) - then 'parts diagrams'.

Across the top is 'Model' 'Parts' & 'Product Line'

Select Parts

Enter a Part Number or partial part number and click search - you'll get a list of parts matching your entry - click on the part and you'll get a list of bikes that part fits.

Unfortunately it's USA models only - but it's better than nothing....

As Jeff says the official Kawasaki USA site is a great resource. Have printed off the entire parts book diagrams for my J which is very useful when trying to remember which bit goes where. All it needs now is some link to their inventory to see if the parts are actually available.

The only hassle seems to be that you can print off the parts diagrams but not the associated parts number list; or maybe that just this computer illiterate.

Copy and paste them into a word doc, it is a pain but doesn't take too much time when you get used to it.
