Anyone recommend a good exhaust Paint?. I've painted an Expansion chamber with Exhaust Manifold paint and even tried VHT BBQ paint but each time it just bubbles up within minutes of the engine running.
TIA

z1bman recommended this to me, I sprayed my engine crank casings

Cheers Jay.
The BBQ paint I used said over 500c and didn't last 'till the end of the road so I'm perhaps looking at something WELL in excess of this for an expansion chamber.

Worths every step of the way.
Two points, firstly the pipe has to be clean and oil free 100% and second I found that gradual heating up is the best method rather than going straight up for a long ride to cure it. Do it over a few heating cycles taking it a little hotter each time, then allowing to cool before going a little hotter next time, a heat gun is great for that.

make sure it is totally oil free & only spray two (light) coats then use a heat gun to dry. run the bike up a couple of times allowing it to cool each time

Forgot to mention - I also sprayed the head and barrels - and baked them
inside a barrel BBQ. Engine not rebuilt yet, but the paint being baked on
should be as effective a treatment as z1bman's I think?
