Hi guys just a quick question, if the kill switch is dodgy would it allow the motor to spin over but stop any spark at the plugs?

Agree with Zedhead!
What usually happens is, the voltage to the coils is reduced because of a voltage drop across the kill switch, so that the spark is not strong enough!
Often people use that "Wg mod" where they put a relay in to by-pass the ignition-switch and the kill-switch and have the positive terminal full voltage going to the coils.
