I think my battery has gone to live in FUBAR.

Are these yellow Motobatts any good?

I know nothing about motorcycle batteries, anyone used these?

Cheers all

Richard (Wants to go for a ride about)

They are OK - but don't let 'em go flat or they are scrap.

Keep a trickle charge going in if you don't use the bike much. (from experience this year lol)

Just replaced one with an Acid Yuasa. Holds charge better.

I like them and have them on my zeds and a TL1000 that is very battery "sensitive"
Better than the others for me but I don't put mine on optimate's or similar as that seems to make them weaker and dependant on the trickle charge
Not sure why that is but just my experience

I went for a yuasa AGM battery from my local bike shop instead of an ebay motobatt just because of any warranty claim, as the eBay seller had some bad feedback on warranty issues, the yuasa was about the same money, I've only got one intelligent charger and 4 batteries to keep charged throughout the winter, I swop the charger every week, seems to work they've all come through ok. :D

I actually use a powersonic 22ah SLA battery in my z1000ST
JUST fits in the battery box.
charge it when the bike goes off the road then recharge when spring comes.

Too big for earlier bikes but has lasted me for 5 years so far
Got it fron an alarm engineer for £20.00
