First, hello to everyone out there.
Looking between the speedometer and tach and above the key, on the z1. what is the hole between them for? I thought that something was missing. dummy light or something although every picture i see has that hole. sooo what is it for? tucking in key fob? anyone?

I think it's for a key holder.

I think we all wondered what that hole was for but Jack is right. You're meant to put your key fob into the space to prevent it scratching the instrument console. Zed Supplies (see web link page above) can sell you an aluminium key fob that fits the shape of the hole!!

Personally think it takes the Zed thing a bit far....but then some might think its a "must have" accessory.

Have you checked the PMC wb site or catalogue....

If not prepare to drool copiously

I thought that it was for the key fob.
A few weeks ago i purchased a 1975 Rickman. It has a 1973 Z1 engine.
Quite a nice ride. I have always loved the sound of this engine. Also currently i own a 2003 zx9r.
i am enjoying the link very much. thanks for that.

Has anyone bought anything off this site? I can't work out whether the prices are good or not?
