Pretty sure my new RR has fizzed itself.
Not sure if it was me or a problem with the wiring (caused by me probably)
Have been getting a healthy spark when connection /dis-connecting the second battery terminal with ignition off.
It measure full battery volts between the isolated battery terminal and the loose (unconnected) wire with ignition off.
My old RR (still functioning) when substituted, measures 1.3 volts between the terminal and the loose wire, which is probably not correct either!
Have ordered a new RR but keen not to see it go the same way.
Any idea what it is i am seeing by measuring full battery volts(12.7v) or 1.3 volts (for the old RR)
Disconnecting the RR from the bike was the only thing that would stop this 'leakage' (continuity) when i went round it in turn, dis-connecting everything and measuring as i went.
